This study examines the violations of trade union rights that occurred in Turkey from 2000 to 2015 with respect to the principle of indivisibility of trade union rights. This principle is based on the idea that trade union rights should encompass collective action rights, i.e., the rights to collective bargaining and to strike to increase the effectiveness and functionality of unions seeking protection and also improvement in the economical and social rights of their members. Every year, trade union rights are violated in different ways. Even in the early 21th century, we witness a significant increase in violations in the form of human rights abuse. Furthermore, these violations are not only physical but also psychological and thus demonstrate the inefficiency of relevantlegal regulations. Trade union rights constitute a crucial part of international labor law. Therefore, in this study, violations of trade union rights in Turkey will be examined in light of the reports of Annual Survey of Trade Union Rights published by the International Trade Union Confederation.
